Definitely “FILTER”—took me a hot second and a cup of tea to unscramble that one. If only my brain worked as fast as my Berkey! I learned the importance of a good water filter the hard way after a rather murky camping trip in ’98. Let’s just say creek water and I aren’t on speaking terms anymore.
In our house, we have a little competition to see who can assemble the gravity filter kit the fastest. Loser has to test the next batch of “questionable” water (just kidding, sort of). Honestly, water filters have become my comfort blanket—forget about fire-starting or food, back me up with a dependable filter and I’ll sip puddle tea with a smile.
Curious—anyone else keep a ridiculous number of backup filters, or is it just me stocking up like it’s the water apocalypse?
