In a recent phone call to Joseph at a jail in Arkansas, Kendra candidly expressed the family's sentiments. "Everyone still loves you, even if they are disappointed," she told her husband, who is 31. During this call, Joseph acknowledged the disappointment and clarified that he wasn't upset.

Joseph, a father of four, appeared in a Florida court through a virtual call, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges of lewd behavior and illegal sexual activity with a minor. His bail was set at $600,000, and upon release, he was ordered to avoid contact with the alleged victim and any minors.
After the hearing, it was reported that Joseph was released on bail. Besides the charges in Florida, he's also facing charges in his home state, including four counts of endangerment to the welfare of a minor and four counts of false imprisonment. He has yet to enter a plea for these charges.

After Joseph's arrest, Kendra, also facing charges of child endangerment and false imprisonment in Arkansas, has turned to her faith for support. She expressed her reliance on faith during their phone conversation, stating, "God is going to get us through this one day at a time." Joseph too leans on his Christian beliefs during this challenging time. From behind bars, he told Kendra that he has been spending a lot of his time reading the Bible. He shared his experiences in solitary confinement, where he spends 23 hours a day in a small cell, reading and resting as much as he can, even though he's having trouble sleeping through the night.

In response to Joseph's situation, Kendra showed compassion saying, "Aww." She expressed her relief at hearing his voice and continued the conversation, providing a sense of normalcy amid the chaos.
