Rain and snow can really do a number on tools if you’re not careful, but I’ve actually been pleasantly surprised by how the KSEIBI holds up. After a few wet weekends camping, I wiped it down and dabbed a bit of oil on the blade, and so far, no rust issues at all. The forged steel seems fairly resistant, though I wouldn’t leave it sitting out in the rain for days. I split a good stack of wood for hours last month—handle stayed grippy, no sore hands, and no damage to the head or handle.
