Been using permaculture in the garden to maximize yield and working a treat. Any of you folks experiment with wicking beds or aquaponics for long-term sustainability? Looking for insights on getting started.

Been tinkering with wicking beds in my own patch for a couple years now. They're a real champ at water conservation, especially if you're in a drier climate. Easy to set up too - just need some gravel, a water reservoir, and a good layer of soil. Bit short on experience with aquaponics though, anyone tried it with success?
