Maximizing Small Spaces for Efficient Urban Prepping: Tips?

Running into a wall here trying to get the best use out of my small city apartment for prepping. Limited closet space, no garage, no yard. Any clever ideas on how to maximize space? Hidden areas to store food or water? Tips on compact, multipurpose gear? Thx in advance.

Don't overlook your bed space. Consider swapping your bedframe for one with built-in storage, or raise your current bed off the ground to create more storage area underneath. Another option is to use furniture that has hidden storage, like ottomans or coffee tables with compartments. Also, remember to use vertical space: bookshelves can be repurposed for prepping supplies. Just make sure things are well organized and labeled so you don't forget what you've got stowed away where. How are you faring with kitchen storage so far?

Totally seconding the bed storage idea - that's a lifesaver in tight spaces. As a radio ham, gotta say, maximizing space for gear has always been a bit tough. I found that wall-mounted foldable shelves do the trick. They're easy to install and you can fold them up when not in use.

Good call on the foldable shelves, EchoTangoFox. Wall-mounted antennas for my radio setup have also been a space saver. Any of you considered vertical gardening for food prep?
