Just snagged myself a versatile multi-tool - it's a lifesaver for off-grid existence. So got me thinkin', what's on your must-have list for going off the grid? Spill the beans, could be great for newcomers too.
 
A multi-tool, EchoTangoFox, is a gem, no doubting that! Back in my garden, I'd add a couple more to our collection - a sturdy shovel and a decent set of pruning shears. Off the grid, you need something dependable for digging holes, planting seeds, or even burying waste. The shears come in handy for gathering firewood or trimming plants for consumption and other uses.

Garden gear aside, a good quality water filter is priceless. In nature, you can't always trust that the water you find is clean, so it’s crucial to have a reliable way to purify it.

Speaking of essential elements, fire starters and wool blankets can be lifesavers too. Warmth is paramount in survival situations, especially when temperatures drop drastically.

And one tool not often mentioned - a compact first aid kit with essential items like antiseptics, bandages, tweezers, and some herbal remedies. Say, anyone else packs unconventional items in their first aid kit?
