Having one clipped to the garden basket is smart—so easy to grab in a pinch. Ever try it for calling grandkids in from the yard? Bet it’s loud enough!

Never realized how handy a whistle could be until I actually needed one in the garden—doesn’t take much breath, even when you’re winded. Double tubes make a world of difference, especially if you’ve got chilly hands or a sore throat. Price is definitely right for something that handles weather this well.
