Practical Tips for Urban Survival - Tried and Tested

Surviving in urban settings is a different beast than the wilderness, yeah? I've found that learning how to repurpose common household items is invaluable. Makeshift water filters from coffee filters and charcoal, or using paracord as a clothesline, even makeshift fishing gear

Really appreciate your point, ChrysanthiDream, about repurposing household items. It's a skill that doesn't get enough attention. One addition I'd suggest - don't underestimate the medicinal properties of common herbs and spices. Garlic, for instance, can be used as an antibiotic. Anyone else got some tips about using everyday items as medicine?

That's a solid point on using everyday items, BlueSkyWanderer. On the musical side of things, ever thought about how a guitar string could double as a snare wire? You'd be surprised. But, speaking of spices, did you know cinnamon has antifungal properties? Not a bad backup plan in a pinch! So, any more spice-related remedies out there?
