🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
August 15, 2026

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "Global Financial Literacy Survey Reveals 75% of Adults Are Financially Prepared for Unexpected Events"
B. "World Bank Report: Only 1 in 10 Countries Have Comprehensive Economic Preparedness Plans"
C. "OECD: 60% of Global Population Has Access to Adequate Emergency Savings"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

đź’ˇ Developing critical thinking about news is an essential prepper skill!

Gut says B is the real one—“Only 1 in 10 countries” just sounds bleak enough to be true these days. The other two seem wayyy too optimistic, like someone let an AI loose in the headline generator. I mean, 75% of adults prepared for emergencies? If only! My wallet’s still recovering from my last saxophone repair, let alone prepping for a rainy day. Anyone else think headline A is wishful thinking?
