🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
December 30, 2025

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "California Experiences Zero Earthquakes in 2020: A First in Golden State's History"
B. "Hawaii's Mauna Loa Volcano Erupted Five Times in the Last Decade, Breaking All Previous Records"
C. "Tornado Alley Shifting East: Midwest States Now Seeing Increased Tornado Activity"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

Gotta go with C—Tornado Alley shifting east. I remember reading somewhere that states like Tennessee and Kentucky are seeing more tornadoes than they used to, so that one rings a bell. The California headline just made me laugh… zero earthquakes?! I think there’d be more news about pigs flying! And Mauna Loa erupting five times is wild, but “breaking all previous records” just sounds like headline hype.

Honestly, headline A almost tricked me for a second, just because 2020 had all sorts of weird stuff—but nature taking a year off from earthquakes isn’t on brand for California. My son lives out there and says sometimes the couch just wobbles for fun.

Anybody else find these games make you question your memory? Or is that just me and too many years of reading wild news articles?
