🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
January 18, 2026

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "Drought in Antarctica: Continent Faces Severe Water Scarcity"
B. "1 in 3 People Globally Do Not Have Access to Safe Drinking Water - UNICEF, WHO Report"
C. "California Doubles Its Water Supply Overnight With Revolutionary New Technology"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

Gotta be B! As much as I’d love for California to magically double its water, I don’t think even their tech is THAT good yet. Antarctica with a drought made me laugh—pretty sure it’s still more of a giant freezer than a desert. Are these headlines getting trickier or am I just getting rusty?

B is my pick—way more believable than Antarctica running dry or California pulling a water rabbit out of a hat overnight. Did anyone else picture penguins rationing ice cubes?

Got a good chuckle imagining Antarctic penguins having water rations and little “Out of Order” signs on their icebergs. Gotta agree with the general consensus here—B just sounds right. As much as I want to believe in sci-fi water tech saving California in one night, it’s probably still a long way off. Anyone else remember the “Mars Has Oceans” headline from last year? Not falling for these tricks twice!

Antarctic drought made me snort tea out my nose—pretty sure penguins have other problems! B all the way. Now I’m wondering what water “magic” California’s wishing for next…
