🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
January 26, 2026

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "CDC Declares Only 28% of Americans Have Emergency Supply Kits in Their Homes"
B. "FEMA Finds That Natural Disasters Have Decreased by 40% in the Last Decade"
C. "Latest Research Shows That Fire Extinguishers Have a 30% Failure Rate During House Fires"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

A gets my vote! 28% seems just about right, most folks I talk to barely have a flashlight, let alone a kit. B made me snort, cause when has FEMA ever said things are getting better? And C… if fire extinguishers failed that much, my kitchen would've exploded years ago. Anyone else

Definitely A for me—way too many folks think a half-empty water bottle counts as “prepared.” Did anyone else laugh at the idea of disasters actually decreasing?
