🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
January 31, 2026

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "U.S. Government Declares Disasters Are Less Frequent Due to Increased Preparedness Measures"
B. "Study Shows 75% of Americans Are Not Adequately Prepared for Natural Disasters"
C. "FEMA Announces New Policy: All Americans Must Participate in Annual Disaster Drills"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

Going with B on this one—“Study Shows 75% of Americans Are Not Adequately Prepared for Natural Disasters.” Honestly, that sounds about right (and maybe a little generous if you ask me). Most folks I know don’t even have batteries, let alone a decent water stash or herbal first aid kit!

A made me giggle—less disasters because we’re “prepared”? If only it worked that way. And C would be hilarious to watch the government try to wrangle everyone into an annual drill. Can you picture my neighbor, Bob, trying to do a practice tornado crawl in his pajamas? I’d pay to see that.
