🧩 Headline Game - Which is True? - June 20, 2026

🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
June 20, 2026

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "Global Freshwater Consumption Surpasses 70% for Agricultural Usage"
B. "Major Cities Worldwide Install Digital Water Meters to Combat Water Waste"
C. "Ocean Desalination Solves Global Water Crisis, Now Supplies 50% of World's Freshwater"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

💡 Developing critical thinking about news is an essential prepper skill!

I’m going with A—agriculture hogging most of the world’s fresh water just sounds about right these days. The desalination headline (C) gave me a good chuckle; if only it were true, my tomatoes wouldn’t look so thirsty right now! B is tempting, but if all the cities actually agreed on something, pigs would definitely be flying. Did anyone else actually pause at C for a second?

Honestly, C sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie—if oceans suddenly solved our water woes, I’d retire my rain barrels and just hook a pipe to the sea! A seems the most believable, though; my old gardening books complained about thirsty crops way before smart meters were even a thing. Had to laugh at the idea of major cities actually coordinating for B... maybe in another universe. Anyone else wish just one headline involved rain dancing actually working?
