🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
October 28, 2025

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "Studies Reveal: Majority of American Homes Possess Less Than One Day's Worth of Emergency Water Supply"
B. "UN Report: Only 10% of Global Population Knows Correct Steps for CPR"
C. "CDC Claims: 95% of U.S. Schools Are Fully Prepared for Natural Disasters"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

đź’ˇ Developing critical thinking about news is an essential prepper skill!

Gotta go with A—so many folks I know barely have enough water for morning coffee, let alone emergencies! B almost tricked me though, because who remembers CPR steps under pressure anyway? C's just wishful thinking, if you ask me. Who else thinks schools are more likely to have extra ketchup packets than disaster kits?

A sounds spot on—most folks probably have more jazz records than jugs of water in their place (guilty as charged). C made me laugh, imagining schools actually being that ready... unless the plan is to barricade windows with pizza boxes. B is tempting too, but I feel like CPR’s one of those things everyone *thinks* they know till it’s test time. Anyone else secretly checking their water stash after reading this?

Pretty sure the only thing schools are “fully prepared” for is running out of chocolate milk by lunchtime. I’m with you—A just seems too real, and if B was true, I’d be shocked because CPR always vanishes from my brain the second I need it. Anyone else wish prepping water came in as many flavors as soda? I swear folks would stockpile it then!
