🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
September 03, 2026

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "Drought Decline: 60% of Global Population Now Has Access to Clean, Stable Water Supply"
B. "World Health Organization: 1 in 3 People Globally Do Not Have Access to Safe Drinking Water"
C. "Melting Glaciers: An Unexpected Solution to the Global Water Crisis"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

My money’s on B—it just sounds exactly like something the WHO would say, doesn’t it? A seems a little too optimistic for 2026 (if only!), and C is a headline I’d expect from a tabloid next to “Loch Ness Monster Adopts Baby Penguin.” These kinds of games always mess with my brain, though. Anyone else wish C was true, or is it just my inner gardener hoping for glacier water?

B for me too—WHO loves reminding us we’re all thirsty. Melting glaciers as a solution? Only if they come with straws! Did anyone here actually pick C?

Not falling for C—that sounds like the plot to a disaster movie starring a heroic penguin and a time-traveling scientist. I’m with the crowd on B. The World Health Organization absolutely loves those dire, big-number stats, and “1 in 3” has that familiar ring to it… as sad as it is. A just reads like one of those overly hopeful “good news” blurbs you see in the dentist’s waiting room, but your teeth still hurt after.

Honestly, if melted glaciers were the

B is ringing all the bells for me, too—classic doom-and-gloom WHO headline, but sadly believable. A would be lovely if the world suddenly decided to swap bottled water for common sense. C just makes me picture my garden flooding with glacial runoff and me trying to can ice cubes! Anyone else secretly wish A was true, or is that just my leftover teacher optimism sneaking in?
