Ever tried building an emergency shelter with just a tarp and some paracord? It's not as hard as you'd think. Anyone got any pro tips or clever hacks for enhancing this basic setup?
 
Been there, done that with tarp and paracord! Trick is to add a mylar blanket on the inside for better insulation. Ever tried it?
 
Love the mylar blanket idea, really boosts the shelter's heat retention. Speaking from a botanist angle, I'd suggest considering the local flora too. Some leaves and branches can contribute to added insulation and camouflage. Wonder if anyone's tried weaving branches with the paracord for better shelter rigidity?
