Securing Fresh Water Supplies: DIY Filtration Systems?
Looking into setting up a DIY water filtration system for an off-grid scenario. Thoughts on this? Any advice on materials and techniques to consider would be stellar!

Can't go wrong with the old charcoal and sand combo, BlueSkyWanderer. Top marks for that! Layering gravel at the bottom can help too, allows for better water flow. Now, something that often gets overlooked - proper maintenance. How often should we clean or change the layers in our makeshift filters?
