In her campaign video, Klobuchar expressed her disapproval of the "3,000 immigration enforcement agents patrolling our streets and towns, dispatched by an Administration that thrives on division."
"I'm calling on all Minnesotans not to look down, not to look away," Klobuchar urged. "Rather, look towards one another."
As she deliberated between staying in the Senate or running for governor, Klobuchar was drawn to the prospect of serving as a chief executive, free from the constraints of a dysfunctional Congress.

The political scene in Minnesota has been in flux since Walz's withdrawal. This was followed by the fatal shooting of a Minneapolis woman by an immigration agent.
