For me, dehydrating fruits and veggies has worked best, especially when I didn’t have reliable power. Sun drying with some mesh netting keeps bugs off and gets the job done. I also use glass jars with oxygen absorbers for storage—old habit from teaching science, I guess! Has anyone here tried fermenting foods instead? I’ve heard it works great but haven’t experimented much myself.
