OldTimerJohn, that's a sensible approach—everyone really does bring something different to the table depending on their life experiences. I’ve found that even small tricks from gardening, like knowing which root veggies last longest in a cellar, can add a lot to food storage plans. Sometimes I get caught up in the details (old librarian habits die hard), but I’m learning not to overthink every choice. It’s been helpful seeing how others adapt techniques to fit their own spaces and diets.
