To answer your question, OldTimerJohn, I feel the most underestimated survival skill might just be patience. Hear me out, as this might sound a bit left-field at first. We often focus on physical skills like building a fire or constructing a shelter, which no doubt are vital. But, without patience, we're likely to rush things, make mistakes or overlook valuable resources. Not every situation can be solved with immediate action and sometimes we need to hunker down, observe and conserve energy. For instance, during my geocaching exploits, I've found that a patient, methodical approach often leads to successful finds. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
