Having spent quite a few years backpacking and camping, I've become fond of the good ol' boiling method for purifying water. It may not be as fast or as fancy as some of those high-tech filtration systems out there, but hear me out. Couldn't agree more, StarlitAtlas, there's something quite reassuring about the boiling method. You've hit the nail right on the head there, whilst it may not be the quickest or most high-tech, it's tried and true. However, ChrysanthiDream, I've also ventured into the SODIS method and found it quite promising as well. In ripe conditions, it's incredibly effective with minimal effort.
