That quote hits home. For me, it means being able to look around and trust myself to make do with what’s at hand, not just what I’ve stocked up. That mindset helped a lot during a week-long blackout years ago—had to get creative with meals and meds. I love the saying, “Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.” Anyone else keep a little handwritten “just in case” guide for family?
