Using binder clips is a solid move—I've tried clothespins too, but they pop off in a stiff breeze. For windier setups, a few small stones or even duct tape helps keep the mylar where I want it. Gotta say, they’re also handy for rigging up a quick EM shield around radios if you’re worried about interference. Anyone ever try layering two together for extra warmth, or does it just make things sweatier?

Never thought about using a mylar blanket for soundproofing, but now you’ve got me curious, CeruleanScribe! I’m not sure it would help with trombone acoustics, though—those things are crinkly and reflect sound like nobody’s business. Maybe if you hung a bunch of them up
