Top 3 Things You’d Grab in a Bug-Out Scenario

If you had only minutes to evacuate, what would your top three items be? I’ve been reorganizing my bug-out bag and realized I might be overcomplicating things with too much gear. For me, a water filtration device (I use a Sawyer Mini), sturdy multi-tool, and a compact stash

Water filtration and a good multi-tool are both high on my list too. What do you keep in your compact stash—first aid, snacks, or something else?

Totally with you on keeping it simple—water filter and multi-tool are must-haves. Curious what you mean by “compact stash,” BlueHarborTea—is that meds, cash, or something else you can’t do without?

Water filter, first aid kit, and my prescription meds—those are my non-negotiables. After years in nursing, I know how fast a simple injury or health issue can turn serious, especially on the move. Multi-tools are handy but I’d grab my meds first every time. Anyone else worried about keeping prescriptions cool or is that just me overthinking things?
