Ukraine and Saudi Arabia Enter Drone Technology Agreement

Ukraine's leader has announced that the country is entering into an agreement with Saudi Arabia. The deal involves sharing their drone technology expertise, a skill honed over years of resistance against missile and drone attacks.

The leader elaborated that the same type of attacks that have been plaguing Ukraine for the past four years are now being faced by Saudi Arabia. He expressed readiness to share their knowledge and systems to aid Saudi Arabia in safeguarding human lives.

Cross-Country Cooperation

Not only is Ukraine willing to offer assistance, but it is also interested in the capabilities that Saudi Arabia possesses. The two nations are on the cusp of creating a mutually beneficial partnership.

He also mentioned discussions with Saudi Arabia's leader about certain international issues. These include alleged assistance from Russia to Iran and developments in the fuel and energy market.

Not Just About Technology

In a recent video message to a global security alliance, Ukraine's leader emphasized that their expertise goes beyond simply producing new weapons, particularly drones. They also have a wealth of experience in implementing this technology and integrating it with radar, aviation, and other air defense systems.

However, Ukraine is not simply offering help without asking for anything in return. They are seeking aid from Middle Eastern countries to bolster their defenses against ongoing threats.

The Need for Defense Assistance

Ukraine's leader explained that they are in dire need of certain air defense missiles, which they currently lack in sufficient quantities. It is this type of assistance that they are hoping to secure through this agreement.

Drone Companies Await Approval

Several Ukrainian drone companies have revealed that they've been approached by Gulf States for assistance. However, they are yet to receive the necessary approval from the government in Kyiv.

The CEO of one of these companies expressed understanding of the need for government coordination before exporting products. He reiterated that it's not just about doing business or selling drones, but also about politics.

Ukrainian Security is Paramount

The CEO of another Ukrainian manufacturer emphasized that they are willing to wait for government approval to export, given the country's security is at stake. He reiterated their collective dedication to protecting Ukraine and ensuring its survival.

He also revealed that their company has been approached by representatives of several Gulf countries, but they advised them to discuss the matter with the Ukrainian government.

A Potential Shift in Arms Distribution

There are indications that a change in arms distribution might be on the horizon. Allegedly, weapons previously intended for Ukraine could be redirected to the Middle East due to the ongoing conflict with Iran. This makes the drone agreement even more crucial for Ukraine.

Speculations suggest that the weapons diversion is being contemplated in light of the war in Iran, which is depleting some of the military's most critical munitions.
