Hadn’t thought to use it for drying herbs—brilliant, ChamomileCraze! I’m always looking for new ways to put my tools to work in the garden. Just curious, does the sun beating down on the pod ever make the herbs dry out too fast or lose their scent? I’ve had basil get a bit crispy in the past when left out in a hot shed too long.

That mini greenhouse twist is just clever—I might give my parsley seedlings a go in there next spring. Has anyone tried starting peppers like this, or is it too warm?

Used mine as a comms tent during a field day—just enough space for my radio gear and a camp chair. Anyone else tried running antennas from inside one of these?

Agreeing with CrimsonWren145 about the heat situation. Took mine to a summer camping trip right in the middle of a heatwave. Keep the zipper cracked open and you won't be too much of a baked potato in there.

That’s a good tip about the heat—those little pods really do trap the sun. I’ll usually set mine up in the shadiest spot I can find and toss a light tarp over the top if it’s especially brutal out. Leaving the zipper just cracked helps, but you’re right, during a heatwave it’s better than nothing. Ancient shelters used the same natural airflow tricks! BlueMarigold, did you try it with a solar shower bag inside, or would that be too much steam?
