What’s In Your Bug Out Bag Right Now?

Curious what folks actually carry day-to-day, not just on paper. My bug out bag's pretty basic—water filter, folding knife, compact solar charger, and some heirloom seeds. Anyone keeping anything unusual or old-school in theirs, like hand tools or bartering items?

Love seeing heirloom seeds in there—makes sense if you’re planning for the long haul! I always keep a small tin with a mix of seeds I know will grow in my area, just in case I ever have to start a garden from scratch. Besides the usual items like water purification

Love seeing seeds mentioned—those always make my list, too. I like to tuck a couple of old-fashioned items in my bag: a flint striker and a bit of beeswax for candles. Also, an egg-shaped darning tool and some sturdy thread; you'd be surprised how handy mending skills are if things get rough. Anyone else keep old coins or silver for trading, or is barter mostly a myth these days?
