Curious what others consider essential in their bug out bags these days. I recently swapped out a few things—added a folding saw, replaced some expired water purification tabs, and upgraded my med kit. Still carrying a compact pressure canner lid, though some think that's overkill. What’s something you never leave out, and do you actually rotate food or meds as often as you should? Always looking for ideas to make my kit more streamlined but still effective.

Carrying a canner lid sounds quirky but kind of genius if you’re expecting longer-term off-grid situations—definitely not overkill if you actually use it. For me, my non-negotiable is a tiny solar panel setup with a power bank. Honestly, keeping my old harmonica in there is about as important
