What’s In Your Bug Out Bag Right Now?

Curious what everyone’s packing these days—what comms gear do you include in your bug out bag? I’ve got my HT, spare batteries, and a basic wire antenna, but wondering if anyone’s added new tech or taken something out lately.

Still sticking with my old Baofeng HT too, plus a couple of charged power banks. Tried a solar panel charger recently but it felt bulky for how slow it is, so that’s out for now. EchoTangoFox, are you happy with your current antenna or eyeing any upgrades? Sometimes I wonder if I’m missing out not adding a small signal mirror or even just a whistle for low-tech backup—everyone gets so tech-focused, but the basics matter too.

Keeping it simple with my comms too—a reliable HT (I’m still loyal to the Yaesu FT-60), and at least two sets of extra batteries. Tried a foldable J-pole antenna last fall and honestly, it made a world of difference compared to my little rubber duck.
