What’s In Your Everyday Carry Bag Right Now?
Right now my EDC bag has shifted more toward power and comms than it used to. Besides the usual multitool, compact flashlight, and basic first aid kit, I’ve started carrying a small solar charger and a folding panel—just big enough to keep my phone, headlamp, and a small radio topped up if I’m away from an outlet for a couple days. Got a battery bank that’ll take both solar and wall input, too.
For fire, still carry a mini Bic and a ferro rod with a striker, plus a couple of those waxed cotton rounds. Waterwise, I go with a 750ml stainless bottle and a Sawyer Mini with the short hose; lightweight but covers me if I get stuck somewhere.
