Curious what gear folks are prioritizing in their get-home bags these days, especially with supply chains so shaky. Mine’s heavy on water filtration and spare socks, light on food. Anyone swapped out items recently based on current risks or changing weather?

With the recent storms and how unpredictable the weather’s been, I definitely shuffled a few things around in my get-home bag. Swapped out some lighter gear for a poncho, a better emergency blanket, and a dry pair of wool socks. I also stuck in a collapsible umbrella, which sounds silly, but after getting caught in that surprise downpour last month, I’m not leaving home without it. Also added more shelf-stable snacks since the stores around here were wiped clean after the last supply hiccup—weird how quickly granola bars disappeared!
