Can’t leave home without a dual-band HT in my pack—never know when cell towers will go down. What’s the one item you always carry, no excuses? Curious how everyone prioritizes their EDC for unexpected scenarios.

One thing I never go without is a small water filter, like a Sawyer Mini. It’s light and fits right in my purse, and I figure clean water will always be a top priority if something goes sideways. I’ve lost count how many times it’s come in handy just out hiking, let alone for an actual emergency. Anyone else prioritize water, or am I just stuck in “librarian mom
