Whats One Prep Item You Wish Youd Bought Sooner?

Realizing now that a reliable water filtration system should have been at the top of my list years ago. I spent ages stockpiling jars and herbs but overlooked just how crucial clean water access actually is, especially if the well runs dry or local sources get contaminated. What’s the one piece of gear or supply you regret not getting sooner? Wondering if there’s anything else I’m missing that folks here consider absolutely essential.

Wish I’d bought a proper solar charger much earlier—power outages are so much easier with one. Anyone found a brand that’s sturdy enough for long-term use?

A good hand-crank radio is one I wish I’d picked up sooner. I figured I’d just use my phone but learned quick that cell towers aren’t always reliable when storms hit or power’s out for a while. The radio I finally got even charges small devices, which is a nice bonus. Anyone else tried those combo crank/solar models—do they hold up?
