Wish I'd started my rainwater catchment system years ago—getting it right took way more trial and error than I expected. Curious what others regret not doing earlier? Anything you’d prioritize if you had a second shot at the beginning?

Wish I’d started composting earlier—took me ages to realize how much garden waste I was just throwing away. Once I got the hang of it, my veggie beds improved so much, and I rely less on store-bought soil or fertilizer now. If I could go back, I’d have set up a good compost system right from the start. Did you run into any issues with water storage after getting your system set up, MeadowWhisperer?
