Rainwater collection is definitely one that sneaks up on you—so many little details, like filtering and storage, that I never thought about until I tried it myself. For me, I wish I’d started building a medicinal herb garden earlier. There’s such a learning curve figuring out what actually grows well in your area and how to use each plant safely.
