Looking back at my prepping journey, one thing I wish I'd jumped on earlier is building a solid comms setup. At first, I focused just on food, water, and gear, thinking radios and antennas were more optional than essential. When a big storm knocked out cell service a few years ago, I realized

Wish I'd started a proper water storage rotation way earlier—let a few jugs get funky before I learned my lesson! Anyone else ever deal with slimy water surprises?

Wish I would’ve gotten serious about gardening much sooner. Figured I could just start when I needed it—didn’t realize how much trial and error goes into growing enough food for yourself! You can read all the books you want but hands-on is the only way to learn what works in your soil. Anyone else struggle with their first few crops, or was that just me?
