What’s One Prep You Wish You’d Started Sooner?
If I could go back, I’d absolutely have started building my rainwater catchment system much earlier. The difference it’s made to my self-reliance is huge, not just for the garden but for household backup, too. I waited years thinking municipal water would always be fine, but weather and infrastructure issues have already proven me wrong a couple times. Should’ve planned out the barrels, gutters, and first flush system before I ever put in my first raised bed.
