If I had to pick just one item that’s become absolutely essential in my prepping, it’s probably my pressure canner. I know a lot of folks talk about knives or water filters, but for me, being able to safely preserve everything from garden veggies to meat is a game changer. It gives a real sense of security knowing I can put up months of food that doesn’t depend on the freezer or electricity.
