After last winter’s storm, I realized I never stocked enough water purification tabs. Herbs are great, but nothing replaces a solid back-up. What’s the one item you overlooked that you now make sure to have in bulk?

For me it was batteries, especially AA and AAA. Didn’t realize how fast they go during long outages—anyone else find rechargeable ones actually last as long as promised?
