What’s the One Prep Item You Won’t Go Without?

It’s always tough to narrow it down, but if I had to choose one prep item I never leave out of my kit, it’s a reliable water filter. Even with all the fancy gear out there, nothing trumps the ability to get safe drinking water from just about any source. I’ve tested a bunch—Sawyer, LifeStraw,

Gotta agree with the water filter—clean water’s everything. For me though, I’d never go without my multi-tool, it’s bailed me out more times than I can count. What model filter do you trust most?
