What’s Your Go-To Backup Power Source?
When the grid goes down, what’s everyone relying on for backup power? I’ve been using a combination of a small solar generator and a couple of deep-cycle batteries, but I’m not sure it’s enough for longer outages, especially in winter months. Has anyone had good luck with portable propane generators or do you stick to solar/wind setups? Curious what’s actually worked for folks in a real emergency, especially if you’re prioritizing low maintenance and sustainability.
