What’s Your Go-To Backup Water Source?
When city water goes out, what’s everyone’s main backup? I keep a few food-grade barrels filled and rotate, plus have some rain barrels, but I’ve wondered about relying more on local streams (with proper filtration/purification of course). Anyone actually use rainwater in practice, or found certain storage methods didn’t work well after a couple years? Curious if anyone’s had to dig a shallow well or tried those atmospheric water generators I’ve seen online.
