What’s Your Go-To Item for Unexpected Power Outages?

When the power cuts out unexpectedly, I always reach for my solar lantern before anything else. Curious what everyone else grabs first—flashlights, crank radios, something else? Always looking for new ideas to add to my setup, especially for longer outages.

First thing I grab is my old wind-up radio. Having some local news or weather info calms my nerves and helps me figure out next steps. After that, it's usually my stash of headlamps so I can move around with my hands free. The solar lanterns are great for setting in one spot, but I've found headlamps much handier if the outage drags on. Anyone found a reliable hand-crank lantern that actually lasts?
