What’s Your Go-To Skill for Total Grid Down?
If the grid really went down for good, I think gardening and small-scale food production would carry me the furthest. You can only store so much, but if you know how to stretch harvests, preserve seeds, and keep pests at bay, you’ve got a renewable supply. Pressure canning is a close second for me—I’ve probably put up thousands of jars over the years, everything from tomatoes to wild berries and venison. Water’s a big one too, but I’ve got my Berkey and know several ways to filter without it.
