What’s Your Most Overlooked Prep Item?

Been thinking a lot about overlooked preps lately. For me, it’s always pencils and notepads—hard copy stuff for lists, planning, or just jotting down info if tech fails. I rarely see folks mention that. What are the little things you consider must-haves that don’t usually make the main lists? Curious what others think isn’t getting enough attention—maybe something like spare reading glasses, or even board games for morale?

Funny how easy it is to forget basic comfort items—lip balm is my big one. In a crisis, chapped lips are the last thing you want adding misery! Pocket hand sanitizer too, since clean water might be tight. I also stash a cheap magnifying glass, mostly for reading tiny print on meds or instructions if my eyes are tired. Anyone else keep small comfort things for stress, like a favorite tea or mints?
