Everyone talks about water filters, ammo, and food buckets, but I think one of the most underappreciated preps is a high-quality pair of gardening gloves. Sounds simple, but after a disaster, if you have to move debris, cut branches, or dig for anything, your hands are your tools—and they're super easy to injure. I've seen even experienced folks lose weeks of productivity because of infected cuts or blisters that could've been avoided.
