It’s funny how often we focus on big-ticket gear and food stores, but sometimes it’s the little things that’ll really matter in a pinch. For me, slip-on shoes or comfy camp sandals get overlooked. If you have to get up fast at night (fire, intruder, whatever), lacing up boots wastes precious seconds. Also: good nail clippers and a sturdy comb. Minor foot
