No matter how well I think I've stocked up, I always find one thing that slips through the cracks. For me, sturdy sewing needles and strong thread seem to get overlooked time and again—even though torn clothing or busted gear can be a real problem in the field. Curious if anyone else has a "small" but crucial item they tend to forget during resupply? What’s slipped your mind before that turned out to be more important than you expected?

Funny you mention sewing needles—I was in the same boat until a jacket sleeve ripped on a chilly morning. Now I tuck a few in with my herbal bandages. Another one that slips my mind is spare boot laces. Had to improvise with twine once, which worked, but wasn’t ideal. Curious if anyone else has had to get creative with quick repairs out there?
